Adam Andreas, apparel designer and product developer at Leslie Jordan, Inc, is Portland Sewing’s newest addition to its teaching staff. He is teaching Monday night’s Draping class and Thursday night’s Industrial Machine Sewing.
He is owner/designer of Adam Andreas Designs, a menswear company. His looks have shown at Portland Fashion Week and Portland Collections. He has sold at boutiques in Portland.
He studied fashion trend forecasting at American InterContinental University and in Paris.
Since his 2008 bachelors from Art Institute of Portland, he has worked at knitwear designer Souchi and riding gear designer Corazzo.
He now works at Leslie Jordan — an apparel design and manufacturing company with 16 factories in 6 countries. It produces apparel and accessories for athletic events and organizations all over the US.
He has worked all areas of fashion including retail, visual merchandising, design, design presentation, construction of garments, fitting solutions, draping, patternmaking through flat pattern as well as on Gerber and Optitex software
