Ali Loverink has a B.F.A in Apparel design with special emphasis on menswear and tailoring from the Art Institute of Portland where she graduated with high marks. Her day job is at Duchess Clothiers, a Portland based company that makes made to measure men’s suits.There she is in charge of quality control and alterations. She has learned sewing techniques all across the country from costuming in Alaska to  tailoring in Colorado.
