Confess! You have projects you’ve never finished. Or projects you never started. Or a simple alteration you need to fix. Face your fears and get professional help!
Make your commercial patterns fit you before you cut out your fabric. Bring in your latest project or those UFOs (unfinished objects!). Get help with difficult garment construction techniques or patternmaking projects that have you stuck.
Go one step more! Use Portland Sewing as your creative space. Become a Portland Sewing member for just $150/month. Take the related classes to get qualified, then get access to our pattern tables, dress forms, home sewing machines and sergers and industrial machines. You’ll get to work with the pros. Our design coaches come from apparel design schools, apparel companies and Project Runway. They are there to answer your questions and keep you on the path to success. Membership hours: M-Sat, 1-6 pm.
