Learn how to create costumes for theater or for fun. Go through concept and design focusing on character. Explore how character and story are revealed through clothing choices. Understand the role of the costume designer from development of the design through production. Then create a costume you designed using traditional and experimental materials. Discuss job opportunities for costume designers.

Prerequisites: Beginning sewing or equivalent, Fashion Design: Sketching & Illustration.
